How much access should we have to our coastline?
The Government wants to change the law and make pretty well every inch of the national coast accessible. But hang on - 70% of the coast is already open to the public.
I have nothing against sensible change but I am doubtful about this idea. Who will decide? How much will it cost? Where's the demand coming from?
The whole issue is now the subject of a "consultation" excericise by the Government. If you want to give your views follow the links below.
